I don't like our ruling party, but linking a stucked train to PAP is stretching it a bit far. Maybe someone is grinding meat again using the train?

Sudden suspension of train service causes traffic and human jams in AMK

Commuters, who intended on taking the train from Ang Mo Kio at 745 pm today (May 13), would have found themselves stuck in a station packed with people when services to Jurong East were suddenly suspended.

STOMPer PY, who was there when the announcement was made, says that no reason was given for the sudden disruption.

Suspension of the train service resulted in long queues for buses and a traffic jam quickly formed along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3.

PY also sent in these pictures of the crowd that was left stranded when the disruption occured.

The STOMPer says:

“I was at Ang Mo Kio MRT station at 745 pm. For some unknown reason, the train service from AMK to Yishun was not available anymore.

“They were also announcing that people can claim their train fares back in three days time.

“Since there's no more train service, everyone started to queue up for buses and this created a very terrible traffic jam along Ang Mo Kio Avenue 3.

“I am also not sure whether there will be a train service for tomorrow.”

Oh No, they are going to fine SMRT for $1000 this time, that's alot of money.

And they will raise fare because of cost increases like paying fine...

PAP is to blame becos they've let in so many foreigners & social-visit pass holders into this country that whenever theres an accident or a technical glitch, human/traffic jams build up immediately ...

its ok to have foreign talents/workers ... but this govt is overdoing it ... these workers will definitely have their relatives visit them as social pass holders, thats why even at non-peak hours, u have these idiots sitting in libraries talking on handphones without a care in the world, or crowding public places like malls & public transport ... bcos they are basically 'on holiday' yet they don't have the $$ to spend as tourists, but use up the limited public resources/services meant for singaporeans ... they are just like unemployed singaporeans ... :o

For sure, they didn't ask this peasant here! If they dare to, I hv no qualms to tick them off and give them a piece of my mouth!

All they did was to ask the usual safe and politically-correct porlanpars and grassroots pros.:mad:Kannasai!
