It was never about physical distance or line of sight. Nor about shaking hands, touching or kissing babies. Not about sitting on your right, or left or standing behind. It is about empathy, being able to feel for the underdog, the non-elites, the peasantry, the smelly hordes..If you dont hear and feel with the heart, you dont hear anything. These guys still dont get it.
