These MPs never see big snake pang sai one.

What is bold and decisive? The $20.5bil budget? Budget deficit? Never see GST rebates of $400-500? Should send them to Taiwan, China, England and any exotic countris to see what other government do. Frog in the bottom of the well.

What is so bold and decisive that they have to be so asstounded.

If you know their rhetoric well enough all these years, it does not come as a surprise how they want to describe the budget. They may repeat serveral times in the future with the help of media echoiing into our mind and soul until our heart is well preserved to their taste and liking.

If you factored in the budget deficit of 1986,which was S$2.5 billion and 6.3% of GDP then, now 23 years later,at S$8.7 billion.

Taken into account the inflation thses 23 years,Minister Tharman & PM Lee's today S$8.7 billion is only about S$ 3 billions in 1986 dollars, only 20% increase over the mild recession/downturn of 1986.

Worst, the chunk of the peanuts they delegate to the panic striken bankers, for whom the last thing on their minds right now is to lend money, they only tot of how to collect their endangered money-an almost impossible task ,ha.

UI tell you,Minister Tharman and PM Lee cannot be said to be guys of proper prospective.

Mark my words, more peanuts on the way, most probably by July 2009.But I cant give a pass mark to PAP for their silly economic management.Although 66.67% said beri good.

As I said before, it was the PAP who led the opening of the Singapore market to welcome all these hedge funds, private banking here. And because of it, we were more exposed to the malaise that would happen in New York.

London is also in a deep state of trouble because it had done the same as New York City did. So during the boom years, London, like New York grew 5% to 7% year on year financially. But once the bottom fell out, London, like NYC, like Singapore crashed to the bottom.

And then we don't even need to mention the fact that we had a bubble economy which depend on the high spending habits of foreigners, which drove prices of food, accommodation up to the stratosphere.
