Subject: Real earnings of Singaporeans decline as population of foreigners increase
Dear Halimah Yacob,
It was reported you denied patently in Parliament two weeks ago that the wages of Singaporeans have declined over the last few years. You even claimed that “anecdotal evidence” showed a significant “jump” of about 20 percent in wages. Well, it appears that MOM's data showed real earnings after adjustment from inflation for Singapore is down:
