Just bought this special deal for my Mother's day celebration - Buffet dinner at Window on the Park - $48 nett per pax. Paid a total of $192 for four in my family.

Pls post how you all will be celebrating with you mum this coming sunday.

Note to Bob Sim: pls be nice to your elderly parents, and stop using vulgarity on your elderly mum and beating your elderly father lah!

My mom doesn't (and has never) cared for Mother's Day (or Valentine's Day) saying these are all various capitalist ways of extracting money from the working class. She believes in the everyday thoughts and deeds, which I agree. On these "special" occassions, restaurants and night clubs raise their prices and the simple-minded commoners will flock there to patronise the occassion.

I will likely spend two or three hours visiting mom on Monther's Day and have some coffee/tea catching up on gossip with her on that afternoon.

Cheers!

The best way to celebrate mother's day is to go out for dinner one week earlier.

Same food at cheaper price and less crowded.

Say Hello! to mom at the niche, can't bring her out for dinner, can I?;)
