KUALA LUMPUR - THE mother of a Malaysian man killed in a hit-and-run accident involving a Romanian embassy car in Singapore has turned to the Malaysian authorities for help.

Mrs Tong Ah Mooi, 59, went to the Malaysian Chinese Association (MCA) on Tuesday morning to seek assistance from its public service bureau.

'My son is dead. The guilty person should be brought to justice,' Mrs Tong, who lives in Kuala Lumpur, told reporters at MCA yesterday.

'I hope the Malaysian and Singapore authorities will cooperate to solve this matter,' she said.

MCA's public service bureau chief Michael Chong told The Straits Times: 'Mrs Tong told us that the Singapore authorities are pursuing the case. But since her son is a Malaysian, she would like the Malaysian government to help as well.'

Datuk Chong said his bureau would take the case to Malaysia's Foreign Affairs Ministry.

The matter took place in Singapore and the malaysian goverment can do nothing about the case.

And the romanian asshole has diplomatic immunity, if romania does not want to hand him over, nothing anyone can do about it.

This is the hard fact.
