Everybody knows Consumers Spending is needed for a healthy national economy, else it will sink deeper into a recession.

The question is:

Why humans need to serve the economy instead of the economy that should serve human beings?

Aren't we been thought by parents to "spend wisely", "spend only when necessary"...?

Humans have become the slave and the economy is the master?

You are wrong! You are slave to the economy but the master is someone and institutions. Middle class is a luxury. Only evil men ask you to be part of consumerist society. Singapore wants you to join in too.

let me explain. economy is about productivity. thus as society has more productivity they produce more goods and services. which means more wealth. in order to be more productive , invention and creative juice is a requirement and an attitude of sceptical of authority. All this items , productivity , creative , rebellous to authority are attributes which SAF suppress. Thus NS is killing Sg.

actually we have so much minister with million dollar pay, if each of they spend 1 million per month the economic would be going. if they nv spend only we spend they ultimately only his wife benefit after which she would spend our money doin rubbish investment again.
