More opposition needed- Down with FTs!

We need more credible opposition members, like Chiam and Low, to act as a wake-up call for the government not to take things for granted and always to put Singaporean interests first. More foreign aliens have been evading our country, or rather our city, and have been robbing us of our jobs, MRT seats, personal spaces, our homes (prices of HDB housing) and even our future spouses and security.

Because of their undesirable presence here, prices of our basic necessities have been shot up and the cultural atmosphere here has become intensely competitive. National identity and cohesion are unable to develop under such a landscape. This in turn would turn into a vicious cycle for the government to add in more and more foreigners, eroding our culture and well-being.

Although this FTs issue may seemingly be a single issue, it affects practically all aspects of our lives, particularly in getting a job and maintaining our jobs. Why should we continue to vote for the current government, when we ourselves are unable to feed ourselves?

DPM Wong has created a personal website recently after Chiam has announced that his team and he would be contesting in his constituency this coming election. However, DPM Wong's website which consists of his email contact, seems more like a "dummy" website. I have emailed him, highlighting my jobless state, pleaded him for assistance, but it has been ignored till now. There was not even a courtesy reply. Then why did he create a website with his contact email for?

We need more oppositions to put a "nib into the butt" of this government, to make them aware and act on our interests instead. We need more opposition to contest in constituencies that are constantly on "walkovers". We, the native people of Singapore, have to have access to our rights, at least to our jobs.

What do you say people?
