Lifts at Bedok North break down 4 times in a week

Although the lifts at Blk 529 Bedok North have broken down three to four times in one week alone, the town council does not seem to be trying to fix the problem, says STOMPer Controversial_123.

In an email, the sender expresses worry for the situation and wonders why the council has taken the matter so lightly.

STOMPer Controversial_123 says:

"This happened on September 5, 9:30 am, at Blk 529 Bedok North St 3.The lift broke down with someone trapped inside the lift.

"When the service team came down, we told them that this wasn't the first time the lift had broken down. This happens about three to four times during the week to either lift B or lift C.

"We were surprised to learn that the town council was already aware about this matter, but had yet to fix the problem.

"Last week alone, the lift broke down three to four times. Because I visit this block so often, I know that this happen so frequently and nothing has been done yet.

"Even the CCTV inside spoils very often.

"How can such things happen? It is time to do something and not just wait for something bad to happen."

Find out more about the manufacturer of origin of the lift motors. I don't think they have a Made in Japan tag.
