HERE'S a chance to catch a catwalk without getting into a catfight.
The Female & Nuyou Longest Orchard Catwalk 2009 will be held at The Tent@Civic Plaza, Ngee Ann City this Friday at 7pm.
Organised by SPH Magazines and SPH MediaBoxOffice, the event features a 100m-long runway that goes from indoors to outdoors.
There will be 66 international models on the runway. It is the longest staged multi-label catwalk, and will present fashion brands like Banana Republic and Vivienne Tam among others.
The event kickstarts Orchard Reloaded, a three-week programme that marks the launch of the new Orchard Road.
Mr Loh Yew Seng, CEO of SPH Magazines, said: 'We are delighted to present our signature catwalk collection... not only to our exclusive guests, but to the audience in Orchard Road.'
Other specials include a showcase by graduates of the Raffles Design Institute's Fashion Design department on Saturday.
Special promotions will be held at selected malls and retailers.
