nTemasick to the rescue of SC?

SINGAPORE (Dow Jones)--Standard Chartered PLC (STAN.LN) is considering a $3 billion rights issue which may announced as early as Monday, two people familiar with the situation said.
"It could come as early as today or the latest in the next few days. It will be around $3 billion and will likely be priced below 600 pence per share," one of those people told Dow Jones Newswires
Another person said Singapore state investment company Temasek Holdings will seriously consider participating in the share issue.
"How much they may take up depends on how much StanChart offers them," the second person said.
Temasek is StanChart's biggest investor with a stake slightly more than 18%. "It is inappropriate for us to comment on market speculation," a Temasek spokesperson said.
StanChart could not be immediately reached for comment.
Banks are gonna be the worst investments now and forever. Why?
All Banks business models have been exposed.
I spoke with many 'learned' ones. Even they do not know how banks are going to make money in future. No more new business models. One way street. So very small profits and growth.
All banks in future will only have ONE business. That is "back to basics".
The WORLD BODY will see to that and make sure ALL BANKS in the world will not try to con with structured products again.
Therefore, growth in banks will be subdued.
Once conned, always conned. Who is going to buy structured products? Maybe only the 66.6%
