A MISSING mother eerily predicted tragedy would hit her family in a diary a year before she disappeared, according to evidence released by police.
Susan Powell, from Utah, had been married a year and the 20-year-old had written of the love for her husband and both her sons.
"I feel incredibly lucky to have Josh," she wrote of her husband in 2002.
But before long her upbeat entries turned sour and she began to fear for her safety. She wrote in 2008: "If I die, it may not be an accident even if it looks like one. Take care of my boys."

Her diary charts a growing sense of foreboding and a strong sense that she should flee the family home with the children. But her religious faith told her to stay put.
The young mum disappeared the following year and was never seen again.
No-one was ever arrested over her disappearance although from the beginning police were focused on her husband.
Mr Powell later moved states and in a shocking conclusion to the family tragedy killed his sons with a hatchet before setting fire to their home causing an explosion that killed them all.
Her husband, his brother and their father are all now dead.
Documents, including her diary entries, recently released by the police reveal they doubted Josh Powell's alibi from the outset in the scandal which captivated America, King5.com reports.
The journal was among several documents locked in a safety deposit box found at her bank and released by police.
Local police have now closed the case, saying they believe Josh Powell played a role in killing his wife and his brother Michael Powell helped get rid of the body.
The new files reveal that Josh Powell tried to cut his wife off from the world. He would limit her computer and phone access, and had all calls to their home forwarded to his mobile phone so he could determine which messages his wife would receive.
The documents also show Ms Powell was becoming increasingly uncomfortable with the erratic behaviour of her father-in-law, Steve Powell, who she believed was sexually interested in her.
Once, her father-in-law posted lyrics on his websites that said: "I can love you in a secret way. I can love you each and every day."
In an email to friends, Ms Powell writes: "Glance over the lyrics -- they are creepy. Especially when you know the background."
As the years go by, Ms Powell becomes increasingly disturbed by her husband's behaviour, which included lengthy conversations with his father that made him furious.
In 2008, she wrote: "Will he do something irrational? Do I need to pack up my things and run?" "Will he hurt me and/or take the kids, hurt them?" she asked.
She went missing on December 6, 2009.
