Miraculous safe landing after car crash tumble

A perfect 360-degree somersault in the air and a safe landing are wowing people watching a video clip of a vehicle crash that shows a man avoiding injury by acting just like a professional gymnast. In online forums, people are calling him "Ticao Ge," or a gymnast, and say the difficulty of carrying out his "miraculous" body actions match that of an Olympic gymnast.

The accident occurred in Wenzhou of East China's Zhejiang province around 7:00 pm on June 21, when the man riding a motorbike crashed into a light truck, which unexpectedly appeared in front of him, Qianjiang Evening News reported Thursday. The man was thrown several meters away out of the traffic video camera's surveillance, and the truck was forced off course and left the scene, leaving the man's motorbike totally destroyed. The truck driver called the police.
The newspaper said the man made a perfect landing on the street after doing a somersault. The video shows the man walking to survey the damage to his bike and dusting himself off seconds after his disappearance from the camera, appearing safe and sound. Two passers-by come over and have a short chat with him and then the man leaves the scene without taking his motorbike, before police arrive. The man has yet to show up and report the accident to the police.
