When the flash floods hit yesterday, operations director of adventure and expedition company Asian Detours, Mr Ang Rong Hsin, 29, decided it was time to highlight their water woes - in a fun manner.

And what better way than to kayak around in the water?

So when the rain fell and water rose, to about mid-calf level, that's just what Mr Ang did. He assembled his foldable kayak and canoed in the back alley of Rowell Road, turning it into mini Venice for 15 minutes.
