KUALA LUMPUR - MIC will hold its Deepavali open house at the Batu Caves Temple on Nov 13, from 9am-1pm.
Its president Datuk Seri G. Palanivel said the open house would be held at an open area on the temple grounds.
By having it there, the party expects to attract more than 15,000 people from all races.
Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak, Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin, Cabinet ministers, political party leaders as well as diplomats are scheduled to attend the open house.
"The decision by MIC to hold the open house in Batu Caves since last year was apt because the place is a popular location," the Minister in the Prime Minister's Department said yesterday.
