SINGAPORE : The Foreign Affairs Ministry, MFA, has advised Singaporeans travelling to South Africa to watch the World Cup to e-register with the ministry.
They are reminded to be vigilant and take all necessary precaution for their personal safety in view of the many reports of the crime situation there.
Before travelling, they are encouraged to buy comprehensive medical and travel insurance for the trip.
Should they require any assistance, they can contact the Singapore High Commission in Pretoria. at 001-27-(12)430-6035 (office), +27 72 988 8759 (24-hours), or the MFA Duty Office at 6379 8800 (24-hours). - CNA/jy
