Men nabbed for stealing S$20,000 worth of cooking pots

SINGAPORE: Three men have been arrested for stealing S$20,000 worth of cooking pots.
The men were arrested at 1.00 am on Monday near Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 1.
Police said the three men, aged between 25 and 27, are believed to have broken into a warehouse at Blk 4001 Ang Mo Kio Industrial Park 1 last Thursday.
The warehouse owner, a 51-year-old who owns a catering business, reported that 70 cooking pots worth S$20,000 were missing.
Police are investigating whether there are other accomplices who may be involved.
The trio will be charged in court on Tuesday for housebreaking and theft, and face a maximum sentence of 10 years' jail.
Police advised owners of commercial premises to secure their premises with good quality locks and chains, and install CCTVs to enhance their security.
