Hackers target local celebrities

Hackers are targeting our local celebrities.
Joanne Peh posted a clarification on her Facebook page yesterday telling her friends and fans that her account was hacked and the posts from the past few days are in fact not from her.
While she reset her password to regain control of her Facebook account, she stated that a person by the name of "Jason Ang" had hacked into her account.
A mere four hours later, an exasperated Joanne announced on Twitter that her Facebook account was hacked into again.
Joanne isn't the only victim of cyber crime recently. Apple Hong's Facebook account was recently hacked into as well.
Apple discovered last Thursday that she could not log into her own Facebook account and had to reset her password. That night, she received a call from Cynthia Koh, asking if Apple had left a message for Cynthia on Facebook. A hacker had apparently posed as Apple, saying that she had lost her friends' contact numbers and was asking for Cynthia's number.
Netizens have also been creating fake Facebook accounts to pose as celebrities. Victims include Joanne Peh (again!), Jeanette Aw, Dai Yang Tian and Zhou Ying.
The fake Joanne went "friending" other celebities, while the fake Dai Yang Tian and Zhou Ying declared that they are "in a relationship" with each other
The fake Jeanette had even stated her address and contact numbers on Facebook, although the details appear dubious.
