MECHANISM by which aerobic exercise is a cancer preventing activity.
So is heart disease, stroke, cancer and many others. So what?
Exercise is telling the cells in your body that U love them, care for them and train them to cope well with daily requirements as well.
e.g.: Nobody who eats a diet rich in protein will form good skeletal musculature without exercise: the protein just becomes stored as fat which becomes problematic (and even cancer causing) vz hyperglycemia/ DM pathway.
The following is a proposed pathway:
Lack of exercise> lack of skeletal musculature (SM)> reduced basal metabolic rate (BMR), increased stress levels due to lack of SM. Clumsiness, poor endurance due to lack of SM and exercise training> obesity due to ,lack of caloric expenditure due to sedentary lifestyle and reduced BMR due to lack of SM building exercise training> increased blood pressure (HBP) due to increased stress due to poor posture, poor work endurance, poor strength, hyperglycemia due to obesity due to low BMR, lack of apoptosis due to lack of exercise signals to all body cells (nerve, muscle, blood vessels etc) unique to exercise related (e.g. sustained increased 65% upwards VO2max activity) to fire off natural cellular renewal and apoptosis pathways> down regulation of immune system due to vascular inflammation from hyperglycemia (diabetes) and inflammatory vascular damage from hypertension. Lack of proper cell differentiation due to lack of exercise signal causing sick cells to fail to undergo apoptosis and mutate into cancer cells. Healthy cells unable to divide because of lack of exercise signal to replicate.
Vascular damage is what causes stroke and heart disease.
Improper cell differentiation and failure to set environment favourable for proper cell replication, apoptosis and the handicap of immune system from performing its rightful job of weeding out any rogue cells on the way to becoming cancer cells are what causes uncontrollable cancers eventually.
The body is an ecosystem. People who neglect their internal ecosystem (usually due to ignorance or ill-discipline: i.e. voluntarily) are those most likely to suffer from vascular and other neoplastic (cancers) diseases.
