There is no double standard. His incompetence in managing the govt's own rules is obvious:

Clarke Quay had always had "drinking" problems. Indranee and other MPs had been in the news on this matter.
Both locals and expats are known to create troubles there. The size of the crowds of the pictures taken over a
few days show that the crowd there were confident they wont be caught.

The operator should be hauled up for being accessory to the law breakers. For obvious reasons, he had both
his eyes closed. The law is there on this matter.

What's the monitoring system of the ambassadors? In areas of expected rowdiness, police officers should
accompany them. Onine videos of their performance show that some of them have no confidence in dealing
with the two sovereigns. In the case of the original sovereign, more back dated charges. Why now? Why not
then?

I am sure none of these AMDKs will be hauled up, fine and deported. PAP is afraid of angmos.
not so much afraid but more to do with worshipping them as magnets for international visibility and talent attraction. when you walk around sg and see more angmohs you feel like it's a more hip and happening city. otherwise it's just another tiong and neh shithole.

Masagos too busy with his other job...Minister-in-Charge of Muslim Affairs.

Community transmission outside of the foreign worker dorms is so low I don't know what all the fuss is about.

Mask or no mask it does not make any difference so what's the big deal if a few people are enjoying a beer?

What an immature society.

Are you an immature dumbfuck? It's about gathering and social distancing, nothing to do with masking up

By now Sinkies should know that foreigners can away with anything in Singapore but Sinkies will be fucked over and over again.

A good for nothing m&d.

Don't expect competence from a token Melayu whom the PAP has co-opted into its ranks to showcase 'diversity' and 'meritocracy'.

How many m&ds can earn $m/year ?

Meritocracy indeed...he is the best of the worst ?

to be fair there are very very competent m&ds too ...I had chanced upon them in Indonesia but not so much in Malaysia....I also notice that sinkie m&ds are taking after chinks behaviours...gone are the days when we love to buy second hand motor bikes or even cars from malays since their sense of keeping their belongings pretty and being house proud is no more ..

for show, one or two angmo will be warn or fine small fee to salvage public trust.
unless PAP arrogance enough and continue to ignore the public sentiment, which is good, this would wake up the citizen and become mindless to vote any opposition that stand in the ward.

There is no need for all this social distancing crap. Community transmission is very low. NZ already lifted lockdown when the transmission fell to single digits and there is no requirement to wear a mask. The advice is to stay at least 1 to 2 metres away from others and just be sensible. Lockdown was lifted more than a week ago and still very low local transmission and people can get on with their lives.

This RQ episode is not about double standard per se. It is really about weak law enforcement that encourages white scums to arrogantly flex their muscles to show they are still the colonial masters and can do what they like in a former white man's colony.

So, what the paps gonna do? Just issue the fine of pittance or whack these white scums in court and revoke their permits? Sinkies will be watching how these RQ scums are dealt with by the paps.

The RQ incident is not about an individual who forgot to put on a mask. Rather, it shows collective desire of groups of white scums who wantonly refused to wear masks and comply with the law and order that the paps wanted everyone in SG to comply with. By refusing to wear masks and comply with safe distancing, these white scums might have caused RQ to become another cluster if one of them, just one, got the virus from somewhere. All the efforts of Ah Wong and Ah Gan would have been in vain.

If the paps were so harsh on locals, it is time that the paps should not treat these white scums like colonial masters.

Like I said before, when police see angmo eat drink openly, they pretend not to see or walk away, when they see a munjen yellow skin, they feel superior and come down hard.
