<p>Comedian John Cleese is selling his second home - just weeks after settling a messy divorce.
</p>
<p>The Monty Python star has listed for sale the oceanfront Montecito home he co-owns with his third ex-wife Alyce Faye Eichelberger.
</p>
<p>It comes after he sold his 14.6-acre Montecito equestrian ranch in July at a £6m loss to pay maintenance. It was on the market for more than a year before it was sold for £8.3million, reduced from £14.1 million, by mobile phone pioneer Craig McCaw.

<p> The three-bedroom, four-bathroom home, listed for $10.75 million, looks like it extends into the ocean and has beamed ceilings and sea views from every room, as well as multi-level decks, gardens, a spa and a wine cellar.
</p>
<p>The master suite has a private balcony that overlooks the Pacific, and that has a sun room, a walk-in closet, a sitting/dressing room and a second, room-size walk-in closet, all on the same level.

<p>Cleese, 69, who plays Nearly Headless Nick in the Harry Potter films and was the voice of the King in the last two Shrek pictures, was previously married to his Fawlty Towers co-star Connie Booth and actress Barbara Trentham.

<p>He has said of the divorce: 'It's going to be very, very expensive but it will be worth every penny.'
</p>
<p class="MsoNormal">Earlier this week when asked whether he would have liked to have spent the past 40 years with one woman, Cleese replied: 'No. I think it should be like dog licences. <o:p></o:p>

<p>'I think you should have to renew marriage licences every five years, unless you have children.

<p>'And I think before you have children you should have to go and pass various tests and get a licence to have a child.
</p>
<p>'Because it's the most transformative and difficult thing of your life.'
