I agree, its good that you are prepared, i am too and all my stuff are a combination of tempered carbon steel, not stainless steel. They are all preserved against the humidity with "Renaissance" museum wax on the rack.

Ready to defend my family should this type of thing happen here. If i am in the US, dual glock 18c for last ditch crowd control and ak47 with plus an AA-12 as back up.

Let me tell you why you should prepare yourself :

when riot start, there will be not riot polices around to defense the citizens, it's need sometime to mobilize.

When you are in it, supposely, let say in the public bus, you will be hit, and you will have to run like a mad dog ! or wait being KILL ! (please see the Xinjiang video!)

No doubt you will be surrounded by mob, but at least you can defend yourself, you will probably kill by those gang after showing your weapon, but, at least you fight back !

This Tibet and Xinjiang incidents, prove that things does not look rosy on surfaces, just be prepared.
