Man with truncheons charged

<!-- end left side bar --> <!-- story content : start --> A MAN who allegedly brought in truncheons at Changi Airport was charged in court on Thursday. Oh Kim Han, 40, is said to have been found armed with two truncheons without a lawful purpose at the arrival hall of Terminal 3, Changi Airport, on Dec 29 last year. His case will be mentioned on Dec 3. If convicted, he can be jailed for up to two years. A police spokesman reminded the public that it is an offence under the law to bring in offensive weapons such as nightsticks, nanchakus as well as dangerous firearms such as handguns without lawful authority.
