A man from the United States has threatened to release sex tapes of his estranged wife if he is unhappy with their divorce settlement.
Lily Shang, 24, told the Manhattan Supreme Court her husband David Glenn Rucker, 26, said he would post videos of "a sexual and private nature" on the internet unless she agreed to a low financial settlement, the New York Daily News reports.
Papers Shang filed in the court say her husband "has threatened to release video of (her), especially onto the internet, if she does not agree to a low financial settlement (in the ) divorce proceedings."
"(Mr Rucker) has also made clear that he will not release video that includes himself," the papers say.
Shang is now seeking a court order preventing the sex tapes from being released, arguing that she is a co-owner of the copyright of the videos.
Rucker has denied making the threats, calling the allegation "comical".
"That would damage me, since I actually have a career," Rucker said.
Rucker filed for divorce in October after marrying Ms Shang in Canada in April 2009.
