Man set on fire by brother after argument
JEMPOL: A 28-year-old man who told off his younger brother for staying away from home is fighting for his life after being set on fire.
The man suffered severe burns on his upper body and is being warded at the Tuanku Najihah Hospital in Kuala Pilah.
Jempol OCPD Supt Hamzah Alias said the man had earlier called his younger sibling after being told by their father that he hardly returned home.
“They got into an argument and the younger brother became angry and tried to use petrol to set his brother's car on fire.
“When the victim tried to stop him, he was doused with petrol and set on fire,” he said, adding that the brother then fled the scene but was arrested the next morning.
