MALACCA: A man leapt to his death from a condominium here after he claimed that his late wife had asked him to join her in the afterlife.
Chan Kok Sing, 42, was found dead at Bukit China here at about 2.30pm yesterday after he had allegedly told his mother that his wife had been calling him to be with her.
Chan's close friend, who wanted to be identified only as Lee, said Chan was feeling depressed after his wife Ng Looi Heng, 34, died in a road accident at Bukit China in October.
"Since his wife's death, Chan has been telling his friends and family members that he had often dreamt about his wife," he said at the scene of the incident.
