SEPANG - A computer engineer was found dead with injuries to the head in the bedroom of his house in Taman Putra Perdana here on Saturday.
The body of Loh Min Lee, 36, was discovered by his brother at 7.30pm when he went to the double-storey house to check on him.
It was learnt that Loh's mother had been trying to contact him for days, but failed to reach him. She suspected something amiss and asked the brother to check.
Sepang deputy police chief Deputy Superintendent Zaldino Zaludin said police arrived at Loh's house at 7.45pm after receiving a call.
He said Loh's television set, wallet, handphone and his car were missing. Loh was believed to have been dead between 24 and 36 hours.
Police are puzzled as to why the intruder would want to kill Loh if the motive was merely robbery.
Initial investigations showed Loh was probably sleeping when he was assaulted as there was no sign of a struggle.
