Man jailed 9 months for causing grievous hurt

A man was jailed for nine months on Thursday for causing grievous hurt to another by doing a life-endangering rash act.
Car washer Mohamad Sulaiman Ali, 28, admitted pulling Mr Chiu Kim Hai by the shoulder with such great force that he lost his balance and fell backwards.
The incident took place at the void deck of Block 469 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 10 on Jan 18.
The two men had been friends and were drug abusers.
