SINGAPORE: A 30-year-old man who grabbed a 15-year-old student's buttocks has been sentenced to four months' jail.

Jason Tan Zhiwei used criminal force to grab the girl's buttocks on 8 October 2013 at an escalator leading to an exit at Toa Payoh MRT station.

He did so with the intent to outrage her modesty.

He could have been jailed up to two years, fined and caned. - CNA/xq
