POLICE on Friday arrested a man who is believed to have drunkenly slashed a man along Rowell Road. The incident sparked concern from readers of The Straits Times citizen journalism portal Stomp that it was gang-related. However, police dispelled that link. Police said they received a call on Thursday night that a man was found injured at the junction between of Rowell Road and Kapor Road. The victim, in his mid-40s, was taken conscious to the Tan Tock Seng Hospital. A Chinese man in his 50s, was subsequently arrested and will be charged in court on Saturday.
