Man charged with making 'explosive' sex toy
A man in Waseca, in Minnesota, US, has been charged with modifying a sex toy so it would explode when an ex-girlfriend used it.
Terry Allen Lester faces a maximum of ten years in prison and a fine of US$20,000
Terry Allen Lester, 37, was charged with making an explosive device and using it to make threats.
According to police, the vibrator was inside a container labelled ‘Christmas Gifts’ that Lester intended to give to one of three ex-girlfriends over the festive period.
Investigators say he stuffed gunpowder, ball bearings and buckshot into the vibrator.
Having been forced to leave an apartment where he had been staying with friends, bags that he left behind aroused their suspicions and the authorities were alerted.
Lester has been charged with felony creation, possession of an explosive or incendiary device and felony terroristic threats.
Currently in police custody, he faces a maximum of ten years in prison and a fine of US$20,000 if convicted.
