The man was caught in his car parked outside the mosque at about 6pm last Thursday.
Following a search, the police found nine small bottles, believed to contain heroin, in his trouser pocket and another 10 bottles in the car.
He said the man was released from Marang prison last June, and had been sentenced to 34 years’ jail and 16 strokes of the rotan for various drug related offences previously.
