Man arrested while applying for passport
Lianhe Wanbao
A man shocked those around him when he erupted in anger and caused quite a commotion at the Immigration Checkpoints Authority (ICA) building on 7 March.
The 41-year-old man, dressed in office wear, was believed to be applying for a passport on his daughter's behalf when he flew into a rage at about 5.20pm.
It is believed that the man had waited for about 15 minutes at the service counter before he got angry and started hurling vulgarities and causing a big commotion.
The building security personnel had to subdue the man and call the police, who arrived to take the man away.
The man is believed to have been furious because he was back at the ICA for a second time after he failed to bring all the required documents during his first visit.
