Man arrested for stealing cashcards from vehicles

Police have arrested a 38-year-old man who is believed to be responsible for a series of theft from vehicles committed in Choa Chu Kang, Bukit Batok and Bukit Panjang neighbourhoods.

Between January and July 2014, cashcards were removed from several vehicles that were parked in these housing estates.

After extensive ground enquiries and follow-up investigations, the suspect was caught along Third Chin Bee Road.

The man will be charged in court tomorrow.
