SINGAPORE - A man has been arrested for being involved in several cases of housebreaking and theft offences.
The suspect is believed to have stolen $30,000 from four food outlets located at Marina Garden Drive earlier this month.
Officers from Central Police Division caught the 41-year-old man at Rivervale Drive on August 24 at around 12.30am.
This follows extensive investigation that began after a report was made by a restaurant manager on August 9 that the offices of four food outlets have been broken into.
The police said in a statement to the media that he is also believed to be involved in another case of housebreaking at a commercial building along Beach Road in August.
The suspect will be changed in court on August 25.
If found guilty, he could face a maximum term of imprisonment of up to 14 years.
