Police in the Mekong Delta Province of Ca Mau said Friday that they have arrested a man suspected of secretly filming women bathing, VnExpress reported Friday.
Vo Van Teo, 27, was caught adjusting his mobile phone while it was connected to a camera hidden in the bathroom of one of his neighbors, as he prepared to film on Wednesday, the news website said.
Nguyen Hoang Van, deputy chief of Khanh Hung Commune’s police said that the subsequent raid of Teo’s house produced a laptop and a USB flash drive containing many clips of his female neighbors bathing.
Police are investigating to see if the man, who works as a mobile phone repairer, has posted the clips onto the Internet or shared them with others via mobile phone, the official said.
Teo, who is married with children, told police that he filmed women bathing in order to “satisfy his sex addiction,” according to the report.
The case is being investigated further.
