A 48-year-old man was arrested on Thursday at Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) casino for allegedly breaching an exclusion order for a second time.

He was detained by casino staff for trespassing at around 8am on Thursday morning.

According to the police, he had allegedly attempted to enter the casino by using his work permit despite having been issued an exclusion order by RWS in May 2010.

The suspect had allegedly breached his order earlier this year in January and is also under investigation for theft.

If convicted of trespassing, he could face a maximum penalty of three months in jail and a fine of $1,500.
