Man arrested after woman found unconscious

SINGAPORE - A man was arrested and charged in court last Monday with voluntarily causing grievous hurt after a woman was found unconscious below Block 106, Commonwealth Crescent, on Saturday night.

Ms Joyce Neo, 35, was taken to Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.

It is understood that she was in the intensive care unit.

The police have put out an appeal for her next of kin to come forward.

Residents of Block 106 said they had never seen Ms Neo before.

They also said that while the man had been staying there for three to four months, they did not know much about him as he rarely interacted with them.
