By Alvina Soh | Posted: 11 October 2011 2015 hrs
SINGAPORE: A former furniture salesman was charged on Tuesday with acting on behalf of an unlicensed moneylender.
Thirty-five-year-old Ko Hock Chuan allegedly committed the offence on Sunday at Block 317B, Anchorvale Road.
He allegedly used a black marker pen to scrawl loanshark-related graffiti, defacing the wall of the staircase landing on the 12th floor.
Ko was arrested on the same day, and a mobile phone believed to contain suspected debtors' records was also found on him.
He will be back in court on October 18.
