I believe AMD chips are made in Malaysia, no? Or used to be.
Anyway, there's a better chance of them manufacturing certain microchips in Malaysia or Thailand than Sinkieland. Carry on being a shameless money laundering hub, which is fast approaching a Swiss cost of living.

AMD still in penang. One of the condition for these massive investment is the promise of green energy. So jiu hu will be ramping up this within next few years. now a joint venture with a tiong ic assembly cumpany called tofu oops tongfu, that’s why jv name is tf-amd.
amd has its own server design and engineering facility in penang separate from the tf-amd jv. this one is led by jiuhukia amd employee lau wai shin.

AMD has a plant in Penang located near the long bridge that linked to the mainland.
