Majority Singaporeans or not?

In the NTU talk by LHL, one student commented that there were more FTs than locals....LHL promptly act smart as usual and ask the Sgreans to raise their hands instead...it was then reported with the attached picture that majority raised their hands hence saying there were more sgreans!!...however, from the angle that the picture was taken, was it conclusive? there were so many photographers that were around as evident in the pic, why did they use this picture as it only show close up of one section (blue circle) of the audience where majority raise their hands? If you look at the background audience (blue circle) the hands that were raised were more sparse evidently....illusion facts or real facts...let u decide and the actual audience presence to clarify..
