A maid from Myanmar who is accused of murdering an 85-year-old woman, believed to be her employer, was remanded for another two weeks on Wednesday.
Madam Yong Wan Lan was found on the floor of her home at Hindhede Walk in Bukit Timah on March 4 with wounds on her upper body. She was pronounced dead by paramedics.
Than Than Win, 24, was charged the following day with the murder of Madam Yong.
Sporting wavy shoulder length hair, the maid looked glum when her case was mentioned again at the State Courts on Wednesday afternoon, only nodding at times to acknowledge the interpreter.
