Muhyiddin confirms Dr M returning to Umno

KUALA LUMPUR, MALAYSIA: Umno vice-president Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin has confirmed that former prime minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad is returning to the party.

He said that Dr Mahathir expressed his intention to return to Umno at a meeting last Saturday.

He added that he informed Umno deputy president Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak on Monday of Dr Mahathir's intention to rejoin the party.

Dr Mahathir, who has been a vocal critic of his hand-picked successor Datuk Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, quit Umno in May, saying that he would only return to Umno when there was a leadership change. --THE ST

the main reason that he wants to go back to UMNO is that,once Anwar becomes PM,his relax and peaceful days are over.
Anwar will surely let him have a taste of his own medicine.

Old Mahathir just want to wayang wayang only probably so that he has another story to tell in his blog or memoir.

Moreover, his son is running for UMNO youth chief and the junior needs backing from a godfather. Malaysian politics all run in the family - like the old Malaysia royalty culture.

In no time, all the sons and daughters of PM, DPM, Minister etc will vie for post in UMNO, and by extension cabinet posts through the help of their fathers!

This senile dolt just wont give up. He's just like the singgi old fart. Matlanders just dont learn and learn good. They had better make sure this ancient proton stay away and stay away for good or there'll be more troubles and upsets coming their way.:p
