A woman was said to have hit her own baby in a bizarre incident this morning (15 Mar) at Admiralty MRT station

A netizen, 'Donny', wrote to the Stomp website to describe what he saw and heard during the incident.

Donny was having his breakfast in the area at about 8.30am when he heard screams.

He went on to hear from passersby that a man had tried to rob a taxi driver but was nabbed by the police.

However, a woman, apparently the robber's wife, had appeared and tried to stop the police from arresting her husband by hitting her own baby.

Donny believes that the screams he heard may have come from the baby.

The woman is believed to have been arrested together with her husband.
