NATIONAL Development Minister Mah Bow Tan will visit Hong Kong from today to tomorrow, to learn how it regulates its real-estate agents and improve such regulation here. He will meet senior officials from the Transport and Housing Bureau, the Hong Kong Housing Authority, and the Estate Agents Authority.

Dores Hong Kong has the world highest paid civil service that attracts the best brains that MBT has to learn from them, even with his out-of-this-world salary ?

I thought they were paid well to attract the brightest of them. Hong Kong should be the one coming to learn from MBT.

Peasants did not pay MBT to learn. A old man said he has the bestest brains in the world so we need to pay them world bestest salary. Is someone lying ?

What a shameless and shameful being this MB is. Ask for highest salary in the world and talk kok most of the time and now goes to another country to learn! :oIo:

If Sporns can get this kind of job to learn on tje job training even paying $3k, Sporns will be happy. This kuniang is paid about $300,000 a month! :oIo:
His job is to learn what they do there and then to prevent it from happening here. PAP doesn't want affordable housing for its people. This is a fact.

Vote them out as soon as you can. If PAP wins the next GE, you can expect a few hundred thousand new FTs in the next 4-5 years.

Our humble and courageous GMS paid with his own money to go to Hong Kong to learn from them even before he gets the job. MBT is a pathetic challenger compared to GMS!

The PAP will never allow anything in their control to be affordable to the masses in Singapore.

So many of our properties and land have been bought by FTs. If the PAP says our land is scare then why allow foreigners to own these properties? Any property or land owned by a foreigner means that a Singaporean will pay higher for that property.

All the PAP is interested in is higher property prices even if it means selling it to foreigners. Higher properties means higher GDP and higher GDP makes it look like the economy is doing ok.

The fact is that land scarce Singapore shoud never allow a single owner to own more than one property. Yet, we allow PRs and FTs to purchase multiple properties at one go as was recently the case with Jackie Chan. There are obviousl hundreds if not thousands of such cases in SG.

Vote the PAPies out and our lives will be better.

ABSOLUTELY. When you are paid the world's highest salary to do a job, 'learning' is not an option nor apply to him.

He is supposed to LEAD and let others learn from him, being the bestest as what an old man justified. Learning from another person/team that is paid only a fracction of what he is getting is unthinkable.

As always, the taxpayers are WAY OVER paying MBT. And for the same token, all thee top 30 MIWs.
