Ugly SG driver rams my side mirror just to get ahead
STOMPer Victim was stuck in a traffic jam along CTE this morning, and when she tried to switch lanes, a Honda driver refused to give way and even rammed her side mirror just to get ahead.
The STOMPer elaborates:
"On the way to work this morning (Oct 7) on the CTE, a really impatient Chinese man in his early 50’s (Honda SDX3038Z) rammed our side mirror because he refused to give way!
"There was a major accident that closed lanes 3 and 4 as I entered from Braddell towards the city, so I had to slowly switch into the other lanes.
"It was bumper to bumper traffic and seeing a reasonable opening, I signalled right to enter the lane next to me.
"As I moved into the lane, the crazy Honda driver behind me sped up and was inches away to my right, and refused to give way to me.
"At this point his left side mirror was about 10cm directly behind my right side mirror!
"With bumper to bumper traffic, I had no choice to move forward nor veer back to the original lane to let him pass.
"Whenever there was a little gap in front, the crazy Honda driver will speed ahead, threatening to hit my right side mirror.
In the end, he actually stepped on his accelerator and pushed forward, deliberately using his left side mirror to knock into mine just to be ahead!
"I have never seen such an ugly Singaporean ever who refused to give way even in bad traffic and in the aftermath zone of an accident!
"I am appalled and deeply shocked at this sort of behaviour. How can he use his car to ram past others just to get ahead?
"Thank goodness my mirror was not broken and got away with a few scratches. But with the kind of space we were in, he could have easily hit my car with no remorse, or worse, create yet another backlog jam with his inconsiderate and unbelievably stupid behaviour.
"I urge motorists to beware of the driver of this black Honda."
