SINGAPORE: Singapore's structural unemployment problem seems to have worsened as the economy recovers from recession.

Government intervention and retraining of workers have kept the problem under control, but experts said a mismatch remains between skills of workers and the job positions available.

Structural unemployment occurs when the skills of workers do not meet the needs of employers. Such unemployment is typically long term and appears to be on the rise in Singapore.

It is more likely that the jobs available are lowly skilled and the growing unemployed are PMETs who are over-qualified for the jobs.

The trouble with S'poreans is they expect the Garment to fix everything.

Even when Garment is screwing them, these brain dead imbeciles think the Garment is helping them.

How fucking stupid can a population base be. No wonder we need FTs

Of course structural will worsen. Industry move so your skill no more must go to new industry. But the employer want people with experience. Like this Singapore will have no "talent" and gahmen take in foreign trash. And when you go try to get degree or master in local Uni, they ask you for experience. No experience, they complain and then take in foreigners.

So even you try your best to be structure employed, the employer and Uni and gahmen will still sabotage you and make sure you stay structure unemployed!
