Maybe you experienced it when your pal didn't turn up because of last minute work.
Or you just want to go drink alone.

How's the experience like, other than the service crew monitoring you closely when you go pee (thinking that you might run away without making payment)?

Not here in Singapore. I have many buddies who look forward to go out and drink, so am seldom alone. But in Jakarta, some business trips, alone at the hotel after dinner, I go to the pub/KTV lounge to have a few beers. Sucks! Locals there can't drink and when they do, they make terrible singers (I sing and dance better after a few beers) but alone, no zest to sing into the microphone, and no one there I wish to impress. So I just slowly down my beers, watch the telly, and put up with more accurately, tolerate!) the awful singers in the pub. Can't wait to return to the room to sleep usually. And the girls, (or monkeys) look terrible! I will not recommend this to anyone!

Yours truly just back from drinking and overheard that a nerdy financial controller of yingli took two mistresses from his Singapore and chongqing office to assist him plot something.
