This kind of reporting standard is really bad....no name some more...

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested a 51-year-old man believed to be behind an attempted murder in Ang Mo Kio.

Last Friday, at about 1.45 pm, police responded to a call about a woman lying at the bottom of Block 504 Ang Mo Kio Avenue 8.

When they arrived, police found a woman in her early 50s lying on the pavement with various injuries.

The woman was subsequently sent to Tan Tock Seng Hospital.

Police said the man was arrested on Monday in connection with the case.

He will be charged in Court 26 on Wednesday at 9 am.

from the initial report from the papers, it would seems that the family is from prc cos they mentioned that when the two trainee nurse spoke to her in english she didn't understand...not till the son came and spoke to her in chinese...
