In the midst of the worst economic crisis of the last 70 years, let's trace the history of Singapore's growth.

70 years' ago, Singapore was a penniless fishing village ruled by the British and the majority of Chinese were coolies, most Malays were fishermen and many Indian were Kajang Puteh sellers.

In these hard times when no-one gave Singapore any chance of survival, a great leader emerged. His name is Lee Kuan Yew, he transformed Singapore from a fishing village to a first world country, which was in all standards of human development, a MIRACLE.

LKY brought Singapore it's Golden Age and while we may be facing a few bumps now, I have confidence that LKY and his son will bring Singapore back to her Golden Age.

Yes , he and his fellow minister has transform Singapore from a sleepy village to a bustling city. For this we are grateful to him. Back then , singapore needed such a strong leader to lead singapore out of wilderness.

But fast forward to 21st century , Singapore needed another form of goverment. One who can tolerate dissdent , one who can tolerate different view, one who can take criticisim from the own people, one who cannot think that their way of doing things is always the way.

As a concerned citizen, we have already seen how Single party domination has lead to lose of BILLIONS of our hard earn saving through irresponsible investment overs this few short years. We have witness local born and breed talented ppl leaving for greener pasture, becos they feel that they don have a say in the place they call HOME. All the ones who have stayed on are only the RICH and the HELPLESS poor and lower middle class citizen, who cant leave this place. We have also witness the dramtic down turn of singapore's fortune ( because of single minded policy of relying of foreign investment to drive singapore economy forward. We have also witness that GLC crushing SME for business in Singapore ( just becos he felt that pte businesses cannot be too powerful).

This is because of ONE MAN's greedy personal gratification.......which is HIM. The rise of Singapore is about him, the FALL OF SINGAPORE IS ALSO HIM !!!!!!!!!
